Planning a homeschool co-op canvas class

For homeschool co-op organizers running a painting class led by parents. Co-ops share purchasing, equipment and supervision between families, so this guide focuses on who pays, who supervises and who brings what.

Business and group-order inquiries: b2b@canvaspaintparty.com.

Central or family purchasing

One person can order for the whole class and collect contributions, or each family can order its own canvases. Central ordering keeps designs and sizes consistent; family ordering keeps money simpler. Decide before anyone orders.

Ages and material labels

Co-op classes often mix ages. We recommend adult supervision for children aged five and under, and children under three should never paint unattended. If you need paint labels or material details, contact us before you order; we make no safety or washability claims here.

Co-op responsibility sheet

Fill in a name per role for each class date.

Role Name Responsible for
Payer or orderer ________ Placing the order and collecting contributions
Supervising adult ________ Children at their table for the whole session
Equipment contributor ________ Shared items they bring and take back
Room contact ________ Access, setup and handing back the room

Shared and individual supplies

Canvases are individual. Paint and brushes can be shared or individual. Each optional paint kit has 12 colors (3 ml each), two brushes, an apron, a six-well palette and a color-mixing guide. You choose how many kits you need, separately from the number of canvases. Families who already own brushes can bring them.

Room handback and household collection

Leave time to clean and return the room as you found it. Paintings go home with each household; agree how wet paintings travel.

See schools and learning groups for more. Choose one purchasing contact and send the combined list of designs, sizes, canvas quantities and optional kit quantities to discuss your order.

For current order questions, contact the team. Read shipping and tracking guidance or order-problem and return guidance.

Questions co-op organizers ask

Can each family choose a different design?
Yes. One order can include several designs and sizes; each canvas carries one design.

How do we split the cost?
That is up to your co-op. A simple sheet listing each family's canvases and any kits helps. Ask us to confirm current order pricing before dividing the cost among families.

Can parents paint too?
Yes; parent canvases are counted like any other.

Can the order ship to several homes?
Ask us before ordering; multi-address delivery has not been confirmed.

Keep planning

Canvas Paint Party supplies physical pre-outlined canvases and optional paint kits. Your organizer arranges the venue, facilitation and other event supplies. Ask about a custom canvas or contact us about group supplies.
