Volunteer appreciation

A painting evening gives volunteers something to take home that marks their year. Keep it free of pressure: offer a choice of designs, let people talk, and make finishing optional. A short thank-you at the start works better than a speech at the end, when people are busy cleaning brushes.

Awareness themes and symbols

Use the symbols, colors and wording your organization has approved. Avoid medical or outcome claims in event titles and materials. A ribbon, a logo or a short phrase can become an outline through free design assistance; only use logos you have permission to use.

Grant-funded supplies

If a grant pays for supplies, follow the grant's rules for what may be bought and what records to keep, such as order confirmations and delivery records. We cannot advise on grant eligibility. If your organization needs particular purchasing paperwork or a specific way to pay, ask us before you order so it can be sorted out early.

Worked example: a member social for 20

  1. Assumptions

Twenty members, a meeting room with four tables, an evening slot. Illustrative numbers.

  2. Designs

Two designs, ten canvases each; each canvas carries one design.

  3. Supplies

Canvas only if the club keeps paint and brushes; otherwise optional kits in the number you choose.

  4. Order

We recommend contacting us at least two weeks before the event; this is planning advice, not a delivery guarantee.

  5. Roles

One member welcomes, one looks after water and towels, one handles drying and cleanup.

Fundraisers

If the event raises money, your organization sells the tickets and handles the money. How to plan a painting fundraiser covers costs, communication and auctions.

What we do not offer

We are not a partner of your organization through this page, and buying canvases does not mean a donation from us. We do not run fundraising storefronts, take commissions or make payouts. We supply pre-outlined canvases and optional paint kits. We do not provide instructors, staff, venues or event management.

Questions service groups ask

How do we ask about group-order pricing?
Contact us with your canvas sizes, design quantities, optional kit quantities and date needed. Confirm the supply cost before finalizing your program or fundraising budget.

Can we reorder the same design next year?
Note the design name. We do not promise to keep custom designs, so keep your own copies of what you sent; see repeat hosting and reordering.

Can kits be bought on their own?
Kits can also be bought on their own; contact us about kit-only orders.

For current order questions, contact the team. Read shipping and tracking guidance or order-problem and return guidance.

Keep planning
